AGA Refrigerators

Many consumers recognize the Aga name and associate it with the stylish, iconic cooking unit that made Aga famous. Since it was first formed 80 years ago, the company has greatly expanded upon its offerings to include a full line of kitchen products. The company’s roots begin in Sweden, although it is most commonly viewed as a British staple among appliance manufacturers.

The Aga company comes with a rich history, starting with physicist, Dr. Gustav Dalen.  Dalen sought to find a way to make daily cooking tasks easier for his wife and maid. Thus, the first Aga cooking unit was born. What makes the story so fascinating is that Dalen was not only a Nobel Prize winner, but also blind.

As the Aga cooker grew, so did the company. More products joined the ranks of Aga, and among them were a number of refrigeration units. Focused on quality and functionality, the products available today come in a number of diverse colors equipped with cutting edge cooing technology. From standard white or black to dark blue and red, consumers can find attractive appliances manufactured with a careful eye for quality and convenience.

One of the newest additions to Aga’s appliance collection is the larder refrigerator. Constructing the larder model with just as much care and durability, Aga has altered the traditional refrigerator design to feature two drawers. This allows consumers to quickly pull out a drawer and inspect cold contents with a quick glance. The larder unit helps eliminate the bending and squatting sometimes necessary when searching for food on the lower shelves of most modern refrigerators.

Aga is constantly pushing the boundaries to create a new product that makes life easier in the kitchen. The focus remains not only on appearance and style, but on functionality, features, and the product’s life span. Many other cold storage appliances are available through Aga as well as wine refrigerators and premium models.
