Master-Bilt was founded in St. Louis in 1938 by two friends. They began by producing coolers for use on dairy farms. Today, Master-Bilt is involved in the manufacture of a diverse array of refrigeration solutions from ice cream dipping cabinets, convenience store and restaurant freezers and walk-in coolers, to complete refrigerated warehouses.
For commercial applications, Master-Bilt offers the Coldin Series of standard display freezers. These freezers come complete with floor drains, locks, and thermometers, items offered as add-ons by their competitors. The Coldin series has a high loading line to reduce spoilage, and models are available in many shapes and sizes to suit your needs.
The MBR/MBF Series bottom mounted solid door reach-ins are constructed of stainless steel both inside and out. The various models of refrigerators and freezers in this line are equipped with an electronic control system with an open door alarm to ensure that doors aren’t left open accidentally, as well as an alarm which sounds every six months to remind you to clean your condenser. This series also sports heavy-duty pull handles which ensure that even under the most frequent usage, your freezer or refrigerator will stay in top functional condition.
Master-Bilt is also the manufacturer of indoor and outdoor ice display cases. These are made of a durable 24 gauge steel panel construction, padlock storage capability on the outdoor models to secure your merchandise, and top mounted, highly visible signage to call attention to your display. The outdoor models also can also be customized with product messages on the side and front.
The MBU series of under counter refrigerators and freezers allows for optimum usage of real estate within your establishment, and is made of a heavy duty stainless steel, both inside and out. While the MBU series may save you space, it is not lacking in storage capability, with 6 foot wide models available.
