Miele Refrigerators

Founded in 1899 by Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann, Miele has been a manufacturer of high quality residential and commercial appliances for more than 108 years.  Their aim is to manufacture the highest quality residential appliances and as stated by their founders “Success is only possible in the long term if one is totally and utterly convinced of the quality of one’s products.”

Following in this tradition, Miele has a product line featuring stylish and economically sensible refrigerators, freezers, and combination units.  All of their products feature innovative MasterCool™ technology, which solves the problem that most users face of not knowing what the appropriate temperature and humidity levels are for optimally maintaining the freshness of their food.

When activated, the user is presented with a food-driven menu system, which when set properly, allows the cooling system to maintain specific areas at specific temperatures and humidity levels.  Using this technology, users no longer have to guess at what temperature to set their refrigerator, and can instead have it done automatically to preserve their food’s freshness for as long as possible.

Miele’s refrigerator freezer unit is in an integrated bottom mounted configuration.  This allows the user easy access to their refrigerated goods at eye level and stores their frozen foods below.  This model can either be faced with the standard stainless steel front, or it accepts custom panels, so you can blend your refrigerator easily into your existing kitchen layout.

Some models come equipped with the MasterCool™ system, as well as the SuperCool loading function.  This feature, when engaged, overrides the temperature settings and begins cooling the compartment at reduced temperatures and will continue to do so for 6 or 52 hours or until it is disengaged manually.  This allows for rapid cooling after a significant restocking, which maintains freshness.
