Founded in a garage of a creamery in 1947, Nor-Lake originally designed refrigeration products for bar and restaurant operations. Some of these products are still in use today. Over time, they have expanded to include a large variety of commercial refrigeration appliances.
In 1989, Nor-Lake was the first commercial U.S. company to introduce HCFC blowing Ozone Guard-22 insulation, which reduced the amount of CFC’s being released into the atmosphere, helping to reduce ozone-damaging emissions. Today, they offer a wide variety of commercial refrigeration solutions, including walk-in coolers, ice cream freezers, and environmental rooms. Nor-Lake continues to offer same day shipping on standard models.
